Revolver is having an art show at the beginning of next month and I’m lucky enough to be contributing a few pieces. Details are below.

We’re having an open studio Sunday two weeks from now, some of the other studios in our complex will be open too. Sixto from Too Yeah Media and I will be there to show you around our studio (#20) and what we’re up to at the moment. This is going to be the first of Ironside’s open studios, and it should be a pretty fun afternoon.

Our house is to be invaded by zombies tonight, we’re having a short film shot here – my neck is tingling. Incidentally, tomorrow is the day of Zombie Shuffle 2009. Zombies plenty.

Some of my recently printed yardage will soon be traveling to Sydney (in the form of Keec Collab bags) for the Life InStyle Exhibition, which will be on from February 19th until the 23rd. Also featured will be some of the Keec bag and accessory range, and all at Keec’s very own stall.

If you’re in Sydney and or travelling to Life InStyle – stop by Stall 99 and have a chat with Keec’s owner, Ben.  I’m sure he’ll appreciate it.

Yesterday I dropped a couple of Paper Whales at Seventh Gallery for the Seventh Sell-Out Sale. A $20 ticket allows you to take home an artwork of your choice, and a free drink!  

The show is open for preview until the sale starts – Tuesday 16th of December, 6-8pm. Seventh Gallery is at 155 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, here in Melbourne.  Hope to see you there.

Our friend Ben over at Bamakko has a few things up his sleeve for the Melbourne International Design Festival. Firstly, Projekta_57 is a ‘pop-up’ event where Bamakko and other design related businesses along the 57 tram route will be showcased together on the 19th and 26th of July.

Sixto from Do Yeah Media and myself will be in store to paint the front window as part of the event; many of the other designers who are stocked in Bamakko will also be in store.  Should be a fun couple of weeks. You can read a little more about Projekta_57 and the businesses involved here.

Bamakko will also be present at the annual Melbourne Design Market on Sunday 20th of July, and will have some great stuff on show. My Paper Whale will be available, along with other neat hand-crafted products from the Bamakko store.
