Yesterday I went to visit friend and illustrator Sixto, from Too Yeah Media – in his new studio space at Ironside Studios.  He’s been in the space for only a short time, and at the moment does all of his work from a card table in the corner of the room.

Ironside Studios is inside an amazing old woolstore, which is a really beautiful old-world industrial building. It’s run by Jem Freeman and Laura Woodward who are the nicest couple ever, and have a few spaces of their own within Ironside for their business and personal projects.

Afterwards, we went to Famous When Dead gallery – to see a portrait Six had drawn for the ‘Gallery Birthday Portrait Exhibition’. If you’re on Victoria St in the next few days, it’s definately worth a quick look.
